Monitoring of travel plan implementation and violations, as well as conditions in Roadless Areas, and across the National Forest and BLM lands are ongoing – and you are invited to help out! .

  • Forest Monitoring – Adopt an Inventoried Roadless Area!  HHAA will train you to collect natural resource information about your favorite place to assure that it remains WILD!  Check out the IRA Monitoring procedure in Current Issues. 
  • Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Wildlife Research – possibilities may arise to assist as happened with the Bear Hair Snagging Project from 2008 through 2012.
